Lotus Xu is a student and a visual creator based in Toronto.

Taking pictures, writing articles, or programming, for me these are different tools to express myself and spread my message. However, tools are getting more powerful and it seems that some people are dominated by the tools rather than taming them. Medium is important, what more important is the thinking power of who's using the medium. I lose myself in those ways of expression sometimes, that's why I'm still trying to put my thinking before my expressing and make sure each individual work of mine tells the story by itself and expresses some of my specific views of the world.
